Beginner/Intermediate
Wednesdays, 9:30 am – 11:00 am
This Wednesday morning class is a beginner/intermediate level class, depending on the skill level of students in attendance. Inspired by Anusara, Iyengar, and Vinyasa yoga systems, classes focus on the stabilizing strength of our core, detailed alignment principles, and the penetrating practice of letting go.
Attention will be placed on setting up the foundations of the pose in the body, mind, and breath. Students will learn how to use detailed alignment principles to create a safe and strong form. Within this precious container, students are able to deepen their mindful presence and awaken their most unique and valuable resource: prana. Prana is Sanskrit for life force energy or intelligence.
